How It Works
The Blow Molding Process
Extrusion
Plastic is melted and extruded into a hollow tube called a parison
Mold Closing
The parison is captured between two mold halves that close around it
Inflation
Compressed air is injected, expanding the parison to fill the mold cavity
Cooling & Ejection
The hollow part cools rapidly, mold opens, and the finished product is ejected
